Wading in to territory that we typically try and stay away from, how to make sense of and respond to the yet another mass shooting here in the United States. Parkland is terrifyingly sadly, just another in a long string of mass shootings. Any individual who reads and properly digests the news knows the issue at hand, the financial might that the NRA holds over our politicians, the helplessness of the communities and our collective citizenry continually devastated. Trying to come up with any type of a response that hasn’t already been repeated a thousand times seems pointlessly hollow.
