We are very honored and excited to announce our first grant for the 2017 year to Grist Magazine for its Fellowship program. The grant funds the work of Vishakha Darbha who joins Grist as their first video fellow this spring. Both Nikki and I have been frequent readers of Grist, we appreciate their insightful and easily accessible approach to environmental journalism and tackling the difficult issues we all collectively face as we try to figure out a better, more environmentally friendly way to share this planet with all of the other inhabitants. While striking somewhat of a factious tone, we can’t argue with their new basic byline, “for people who want a planet that doesn’t burn and a future that doesn’t suck”.
We’re really looking for to the first installments by Vishakha, we will do our very best to share them on our twitter account, but also if you want to follow her work directly at Grist itself, for a full list of all the current and past Grist Fellows and from there you can find all of the specific work they’ve contributed.
If it’s the type of thing you like, read the whole press release here.
