Dress For Success Annual Gala Supporting Veterans

October 30, 2016 by Editorial

Dress For Success Miami Veterans Gala

This years Dress For Success Miami Gala was something of a throwback to the 20th Anniversary party, once again it was held at the Rusty Pelican on Key Biscayne. While last years gala at the Eden Roc was fun, it was a little difficult for a lot of the guests, what with travel, traffic and parking on the Beach. So, back to the Pelican it was.

For each gala, there is a general theme to support a specific function or program within the local Dress For Success Community, this years focus was on veterans. For those who serve our country in the military, its impossible to offer too much gratitude for their effort and sacrifice. Specifically reaching out and offering job training and help to get veterans back in the work force, its the very least we can do. For our family this was also a personal moment for expression of gratitude and recognition, both of Nikki’s grandmothers served in the Navy for the WAVES during World War 2.

Additional Thanks To: Sponsors And Partners Walmart, Ocean Bank, Bacardi, Perry Ellis, Brickell Luxury Motors, Doubletree Grand Biscayne Bay, JW Marriott Marquis Miami, Xumba Printing, Jesse Estrada, Natalia Robles. Celebrity Guest Selenis Layva and Gala Ambassador Chiquinquira Delgado.
